A Movement for Inner & Outer Peace

Guiding Your Community towards Healing

Online Pranayama Teacher Training

A Personal Letter from Lila:

Hello Yoga Teacher & Practitioner... Thank you for being curious about this training. It was inspired by many of my clients and friends who are struggling with their mental-emotional wellbeing. People are expressing challenges from anxiety, depression, eco grief, etc. and many are realizing they may be still processing trauma from the pandemic.

In fact, since 2020, over 970 million people worldwide suffer from a mental health disorder. These are more than staggering numbers. They are people, like you and me. That is why I felt called to do something to help.

In response to this mental-emotional health crisis, I invited two of my favorite teachers to co-create a unique in-depth training that creates ripples of healing. My annual Pranayama Teacher Training has now turned into a mini social wellness movement. This training is a conscious response to a silent call for healing.

Pranayama is one of the most powerful practices to address the crises of our mind and heart. It is known to develop inner peace, lighten emotional weight, elevate one's consciousness, balance the brain, and stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system.

This crucial Hatha Yoga practice is often left out of our yoga classes due to the lack of student interest, teacher proficiency, or not enough class time.

However, the time is now for us to bring this practice into our classes to help humanity mitigate the lower frequencies of today's society, rebalance their electrical systems, and up level our collective consciousness assisting in planetary peace and innovation.

If we share these ancient yoga wisdoms and practices with our communities, we can become an immune cell that acts as a healing force and beacon of hope for people and planet.

Do you desire to dive into these teachings and practices for yourself and your community?

If any of this resonates, join this training to further develop your practice and skills.

I know you have a huge heart and want to help people. The world needs your talents more than ever. Now is your chance to refine your skills, and serve a greater cause...global healing.

Join us! We'd love to see you in our virtual circle!

"It is prana that shines in your eyes. It is through the power of Pranayama the ears hear, the eyes see, the skin feels, the tongue tastes, the nose smells the brain and the intellect do their function. Prana is force. Prana is magnetism."

How it Works:

Once a week, for nine weeks we meet live online in a Zoom Room. We launch with a ceremony, meet n greet for the group, and introductions. We will discuss our vision for the training, details, and get to know each other. Prem Sadasivananda ji will lead you through a yogic ceremony to do at home.

Then the following three weeks, you'll be diving into theory with Vedanta & Sanskrit scholar Prem Sadasivananda. With him, you'll gain a richer understanding of classical yogic topics like Prana universal life energy, and Pranayama the practices that tap into the cosmic field of consciousness and energy.

The following two sessions are structured and guided by Isvari and she will be teaching you seven Ayurveda Pranayama practices taught by Dr. Vasant Lad. You will then have dedicated time to refining the techniques and practice teaching others.

The final two sessions are reserved for group learning with Lila where you will learn how Yoga Therapy would address depression, anxiety, and Covid recovery from the lens of pranayama. You'll have time to teach each other and also learn how to create offerings to share in your community and local studio. All with the common shared vision of reducing suffering in our communities.

Each theory session lasts around 45m-60m, leaving time for Q&A, practicum break out sessions, self reflection, and sangha sharing.

"Prana is expended by thinking, willing, acting, moving, talking, writing, stress, worry, etc. A healthy, strong person has abundance of Prana, or vitality. That yogin who has stored up a large supply of Prana radiates strength and vitality all around."

“We knew Covid would have an impact on these mental disorders, we just didn’t know how big the impact was going to be. In a systematic review, researchers analyzed data from dozens of studies that reported the prevalence of major depressive disorder and anxiety disorders in the pandemic, calculating that each increased by 28% and 26%, respectively, last year globally.

That’s tens of millions more cases of depression and anxiety, in addition to the hundreds of millions already occurring around the world."

- Alize Ferrari, a lead researcher at the Queensland Center for Mental Health Research in Australia and co-author of the study, published recently in the Lancet.
